By all counts, it looks like we should have a good snowy winter this year! Hooray!
We are now accepting registrations for both the Weekend program and the After School programs.

All our group lessons are designed in “full program” format, and scheduled to provide access for all family members. All the weekend group lessons are 1.5 hours in length, and begin on January 5 and 6, 2013. (Saturday: 9:30, 11:30 or 1:30. Sunday: 11:30 or 1:30).

Beginning at 4 years old, your energetic youngster can learn the movements needed to control skis in the Ski Tykes Program. Ideal for the 6 and 7 year olds who have never skied, we offer the Ski Stars Program during the same time blocks. All Pre-Teen children take lessons in our Excitement for All groups, from total beginners (“Never-Evers”) right through those youngsters and Adults needing to refine existing skills. And don't forget the Snowboarding opportunities during the same time!

Brand New Children's Snowboarding. Our Rad Riders program is for 5-7 year olds who have never snowboarded. Only 1 class group per session, 6 children per group. First come, first served basis. Children MUST be on the Burton Learn-To-Ride equipment.

While the children are out on the slopes, we also offer lessons for Mom and Dad. The Smooth Touch program gives gals from 13 and up the chance to learn the basics and/or refine existing skills in groups led by women instructors. The co-ed 13 and up novice, intermediate and above participate in Excitement for All.

If weekends present a difficult time to commit to Snowsports, try the After School Program for your children, beginning January 8th, 2013. This program is open to children from 1st grade and up. The students arrive at Maple Ski Ridge anytime between 3:00 PM and 4:00PM, Tuesday thru Friday. This is an opportunity for your children to get out in the fresh air with their school friends. The fee includes a 1-hour lesson and the Twilight Area Use Ticket (3:00 PM till 9:00 PM). These lesson groups are slightly larger than those in the Weekend programs.
